Hot tub use

Please shower in your cottage before entering the hot tub to avoid polluting the water with
moisturizer, sun tan lotion, make up etc. If you have recently applied fake tan please do not
use the hot tub as we will have to empty the water out and reheat it before it can be used
again. This takes approximately 15 hours and you will be charged an excess cleaning fee.
Children must be supervised at all times and only stay in the water for 10-15 minutes at a
time.
Adults should only stay in the water for between 20-30 minutes to avoid potential heat
related health risks such as heat stroke.
We check chlorine & ph levels daily and may need to add chemicals to the water to rectify
any imbalances. Occasionally this will mean you cannot use the hot tub for an hour or so in
order to give the chemicals time to work and wait for the water to be safe.
The control panel on the side controls the temperature and the jets but these can also be
set individually to your liking by turning the metal housing on each jet. There's also a button
to turn the light on in the hot tub, please ensure it's turned off after use.
You don’t need to switch off the jets when you get out as they will automagically shut off
after 20 minutes, unless the tub is running it’s automatic purge cycle.

The hot tub is available for use from 10am to 10pm.
We ask that guests be respectful of each other and not engage in overly noisy or
inconsiderate behavior when using the hot tubs.
We provide bathrobes and beach towels for use with the hot tubs, please do not take the
bathroom towels outside. We reserve the right to charge extra laundry charges for
bathroom towels that have been stained by taking them outside.
We reserve the right to close off the hot tub in the event of any safety concerns.
The switch for the lights for the garden are located on the side of the steps between the two
levels of the garden (grey box). You'll need to squeeze and lift the cover up to access the
plug switch. You can also download an app on your phone called "Mesh Lamp" which gives
you the ability to adjust colours, brightness of the lights.
Please replace cover after use and leave chlorine dispenser floating in the middle of the tub.
