For those travelling alone you find a cottage that suits your style and budget. Hazelnut & Beechnut cottages tend to be the most popular for our single guests.

One of our main aims at Heath Farm is to cater for the absolute best experience in couple’s accommodation. Seclusion, comfort and relaxation awaits.

Wake up in a truly romantic bedroom, in a king or super kingsize bed, surrounded by beautifully crafted furniture, fresh flowers and stunning views. Enjoy cosying up by your crackling log fire, eating al fresco in our tranquil, beautifully scented courtyard or cooking romantic suppers in your fully equipped kitchen. Alternatively use our out and about guide to find the perfect setting for a meal out, something to do or book a personal chef to cook for you in your cottage.

A truly memorable childhood experience.

Children’s dreams can come true at Heath Farm.  Here on our 70 acre woodland farm, they can run wild through the fields, picnic or make camps in the woods.  There’s a designated games lawn where there’s a trampoline and games shed housing outdoor games such as badminton, volleyball, boules, croquet, kids archery set and giant Jenga.  We even have our own model aircraft flying strip which is also ideal for kite flying (they’re in the games shed too!).  When the weather is not so great there’s an indoor games room where they can play pool, table tennis, table football, darts or a wealth of board games supplied.  There’s also a projector a computer with DVD player for watching movies on.  All in all you’ll struggle to tear the kids away!

Cobnut Cottage is our family friendly cottage which sleeps 4. It is usually possible to book additional cottages to fit larger families.  We would recommend a combination of either Cobnut and Chestnut (called Aslan due to the walk through Narnia inspired wardrobe!) which would sleep up to 6 adults and 2 kids or Chestnut and Walnut who’s entrances are alongside each other, this option could sleep up to 6 Adults & 4 kids (this would be using the sofa beds for two children – additional fees apply if going over the usual capacity of the cottage).

Please note that nearby the cottages and within the courtyard are designated quiet zones to make sure the peace, tranquillity and respect of other guests is adhered to.

For safety reasons farm buildings and especially the wood stacks are out of bounds.  Children should be accompanied at all times.  Please be mindful of natural hazards such as deep water in the pond.

For family reunions, group retreats, those going to nearby events with friends and other special occasions.  If you are looking at booking more than one cottage we can usually accommodate you.  For groups of 6 to 8 it is possible to combine Cobnut and Chestnut through the Aslan interconnecting door.  For larger groups we can accommodate 14-19 people if all the cottages are booked.  Please contact us to discuss if this is of interest and we can tailor your stay accordingly.  Please note we do not accept single sex group bookings i.e hen or stag events.  Special Occasions If you’re planning your stay to celebrate a special occasion do please let us know.  We’d love to help you realise your dreams and may be able to offer additional help, services or information to make the occasion even more special.
If all cottages are booked together you may be able to enjoy almost exclusive use of the grounds including the Courtyard, Games Lawn, Orchard, Woodland Events Space (extra charge may apply) and Games Room.  Outside catering, marquee/Tipi/Bell tent hire and other equipment and luxuries can be provided for special occasions.* * Please supply a list of requirements by email and we’ll get back to you with specific prices.  Please note we do not accept corporate bookings unless they have impeccable green credentials.  Charities, Trusts, community groups and generally environmentally friendly types are warmly welcomed.

We do always recommend at least a week here at Heath Farm as time seems to stand still and there is so much to see and do in between making the most of the opportunity to slow down. However, if you do want to stay for less than a week we offer the flexibility to stay for a night to 6 nights too. We accept bookings of up to 56 days in a single cottage. For those planning a long break we offer 5% discount for stays between 14-28 days and 10% for stays between 28-56 days long.

Our loyalty scheme

We love to see our guests return time and time again so we decided to set up our own loyalty scheme to reward you.  Returning guests receive 5% and 10% for those that have stayed with us more than 5 times*.  To receive your loyalty discount just make sure you mention you’re a returning guest when you book, we’ll then adjust the price to reduce your final balance payment.  If there’s been a change in your email, address or phone number the booking system will not recognise it as a repeat booking.  Do let us know if we have neglected to apply your discount.
